Snowfall

when you see the full moon through the trees
when your eyes drip out of happiness
or sadness
when a song makes you fall in love
when love makes you feel trapped
or freed
when you forget what made you a child
and what your mother's hair looked like
or your father's hands

the snow falls softly and melts away
