Something written

They dont tell you what will happen when two hearts collide
they say that in the collision two souls are made one,
once separate now whole

thats a lie

it is with another that we are
  broken
that our hearts are
shattered
and we must pick up the dust of our scattered selves
together and try to mend
and out of those pieces make gold
it is  not with another that we are made whole,
 it is with others that we are reborn
